About Me

You may have seen me in such things as 'The Hopeful Hummingbird' or 'The Adventures of Kimberley Jane'.

So, why another blog?

Due to lots and lots of bumpy roads (what most people generally call 'life') I've found that I've travelled quite far from these previous blogs. They didn't represent what I wanted them to any more, and so I wanted to start a new journey.

My anxiety disorder is probably my most 'outward' mental health problem - if you've met me, you've probably witnessed me have a panic attack or seem overly anxious at some point. And so, The Musings of an Anxious Girl was born.

I've been lucky to have worked on other blogs as well as working with charities such as Mind and even BBC Three. Here's to more collaborations in the future.

I hope to share with you not only my mental health journey, but also anything and everything related. Whether it's on a particular topic, a review on a hand cream that's helped my 'OCD Hand', or just sharing what I've been up to, I aim to give a little glimpse into what it's like living alongside a bundle of mental health problems (and just to prove that people with mental illnesses aren't actually any different to anyone else).

Anyway, enjoy reading. Please get in touch if you have any questions, want me to read your blog, or if you are interested in collaborating with me.

Much love, AG (Anxious Girl).

  1. You probably aren’t okay and I am not either. We live in a world that wasn’t made for us. We analyze information differently than 97% of people and we know it! It is scary and hard to deal with. Just know you aren’t alone even when it feels like it. Feel free to reach out if you ever want to talk. I know it’s hard.
